REVIEW: Lethal White (Robert Galbraith)

Book: Lethal White
Author: Robert Galbraith
My rating: 4.5/5

Premise: When a troubled young man comes to Cormoran Strike asking for help investigating a crime he thinks he witnessed as a child, Strike is left deeply unsettled. Trying to get to the bottom of this story, Strike and Robin Ellacott set off on a twisting trail that leads them through the backstreets of London, into a secretive inner sanctum of Parliament, and to a beautiful but sinitor manor house deep in the countryside.

This is the 4th book in the Strike series and I was not disappointed! Yet again, the story has enough twists and turns and possibilities that I couldn't guess the ending. I like the pace of the books in this series; the main investigation and the character development are nicely balanced. I did get a tad frustrated with Robin at times with regard to her staying with her not-so-nice husband (I just wanted to reach into the book and shake her!) but I could relate to her on many levels. If you haven't read this series, then I whole-heartedly recommend it! It's the best crime series I've read!
