2020 Wrap Up

2020 is almost over - thank God! It's been quite a weird year for us all, adjusting to working from home and evenings full of zoom calls. Whilst it wasn't a good year for socialising, it was perfect for reading. I've managed to knock a lot of books off my tbr pile, but managed add a load more on the end. I don't think I can fit another read in now before the new year, so here is my wrap up!

My Highlights:
Books read
: 62
Pages read: 25,514
Shortest read: Passing by Nella Larsen
Longest readBreaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Best booksThe Host (Stephenie Meyer), Emma (Jane Austen), Britt-Marie Was Here (Fredrik Backman), Reasons to Stay Alive (Matt Haig)Jane Eyre (Charlotte Brontë)
Worst booksRivers of London (Ben Aaronovitch), The Last Battle (C.S. Lewis)

I didn't set myself a numerical reading target this year, instead I did a 12-month challenge that my friend sent me (although I mostly ignored the months and just met each prompt!). This year I've had quite a few rereads and managed to get through a lot of my classics.  Overall, I'm very happy with my 2020 reads. Below is a list of all the books I've read and my ratings.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been following me in my reading journey! Fingers crossed for a better year next year.
