Fake dating? Check. Friends to lovers? Check. Festive? Check!
This is your classic Christmas romance. We have best friends Stella and Luka who fake date to win an online competition. I was expecting the competition to be in the story a lot more than it was. The competition runner arrived later on in the book and by that time the friends-to-lovers was well on it's way to completion. Also, Stella annoyed me towards the end when Luka finally confessed and she wouldn't accept it.
But the story was very festive and got me in a christmassy mood. There was a good amount of banter and cutesy moments. I will say there were a few scenes that had me blushing! Overall, a nice read.
