REVIEW: A Curse For True Love (Stephanie Garber)

Book: A Curse For True Love
Author: Stephanie Garber

Premise: Evangeline Fox ventured to the Magnificent North in search of her happy ending, and it seems as if she has it. But she has no idea of the devastating price she’s paid for this fairytale and her husband is determined to make sure she never finds out . . . but first he must kill Jacks, the Prince of Hearts.

This book is mostly told from Evangeline's perspective but there are chapters told by Jacks and Apollo. I enjoyed these "villain" perspectives and it helped keep the story going at points. Evangeline and Jacks are super adorable and I love their relationships. The storylines tied up nicely in the end and I just came away feeling really warm and fuzzy.

I'm not usually a fan of missing memories plot lines in the middle of a series, just because we end up repeating things and I'm just waiting for the memories to come back. So the first part of the book was frustrating, but I liked how she got her memories back as it linked nicely to the previous books.

What makes this series even better is the fact that different editions have different epilogues - almost like the story curse is real! And these epilogues set us up for more stories in this world!!!
