REVIEW: Midsummer Mysteries (Agatha Christie)

Book: Midsummer Mysteries
Author: Agatha Christie

Another short story collection so here are my thoughts on each one!

☀️THE BLOOD-STAINED PAVEMENT - really enjoyed this mystery

☀️THE DOUBLE CLUE - quite simple but the red herrings were a bit too obvious

☀️DEATH ON THE NILE - this is a Parker Pyne story, not the Poirot novel. An enjoyable mystery

☀️HARLEQUIN'S LANE - very odd story, wasn't sure where it was going and then I got lost in riddles

☀️THE ADVENTURE OF THE ITALIAN NOBLEMAN - very clever with a good twist

☀️JANE IN SEARCH OF A JOB - a good lark with a sweet ending

☀️THE DISAPPEARANCE OF MR DAVENHEIM - a light hearted Poirot story with plenty of humour

☀️THE IDOL HOUSE OF ASTARTE - atmospheric and clever

☀️THE RAJAH'S EMERALD - another clever story that made me chuckle

☀️THE ORACLE AT DELPHI - humorous with some jeopardy and a good twist at the end

☀️THE ADVENTURE OF THE SINISTER STRANGER - kind of confusing but an enjoyable spy thriller

☀️THE INCREDIBLE THEFT - a slightly longer Poirot story that was very clever and had a good twist at the end
