This little book is a collection of short poems by Sappho, a woman from ancient Greece. I'm not a massive fan of poetry but these were gorgeous. Sappho covers the gods, love and Troy. Most of these were her reminiscing about young love and all the feelings involved. I particularly loved her descriptions of Greece - she really sets the scene well!
