REVIEW: The American Roommate Experiment (Elena Armas)
Book: The American Roommate Experiment
Author: Elena Armas
Premise: After the ceiling of her apartment crumbles down, Rosie goes to stay at her best friend's apartment. But she doesn’t know that the apartment is being used by her friend's cousin Lucas. Add to that her terrible writer's block with a deadline weeks away. So when Lucas suggests taking her on fake dates to give her inspiration, Rosie has nothing to lose.
This book was cute and cosy and made me feel the feels. Rosie is someone who always has everything sorted and now her world is crashing down. Then she ends up sharing a flat with her crush and going on fake dates with him....we know where this is going. Did I still get super invested in their story? Hell yes! Lucas is the perfect book boyfriend and there were so many romantic moments. I also liked that the "dilemma" wasn't a huge bust-up over a misunderstanding, but was small and resolved quickly. Really enjoyed this book!
