Premise: Daphne always loved the way Peter told their story. That is until he runs off with Petra. Which is how Daphne ends up rooming with Miles, Petra's ex. One night, while tossing back tequilas, they form a plan to mislead their exes by posing as a couple. But it’s all just for show, of course, because there’s no way Daphne would actually fall in love with her ex-fiancé’s new fiancée’s ex . . . right?

I'm a sucker for a fake dating romance. And one where the main characters have both been jilted and wanting revenge? Sign me up! Yes it's a well worn plot and the story is predictable. But who cares?! You can't help but be on Daphne's side throughout and feel for her when her insecurities start playing up. I enjoyed seeing her build a new life and make friends. And Miles is the ultimate book boyfriend. A nice, warm, fuzzy read.
