REVIEW: Swept Away (Beth O'Leary)
Book: Swept Away
Author: Beth O'Leary
Premise: After a steamy one-night fling, Zeke and Lexi are horrified to find that the houseboat they stayed on has been swept out to sea. As their supplies start to run dangerously low, and the waves pick up, they soon realise there's much more on the line than their new relationship.
This was just the sort of light easy read I was after. Forced proximity where she's got past trauma and he's the nice guy who will heal her. Essentially you know what you're in for. What I liked about this book was the survival element to this story. It really helped the characters develop and offered something extra than just romance. Loved the main couple, although I felt the best friend got off way too lightly! Another hit from Beth O'Leary for me.
