Premise: When Portia Hastings follows her sister through time, she's almost immediately beset by highwaymen. Her search for her sister soon finds Portia at a crumbling castle, inhabited by the ill-tempered Earl of Ravensford and a ghost intent on driving her out.

This is the last book in the Stitch In Time series and I've really enjoyed it. The final installment had adventure, romance and danger. I like how you get straight into the story with minimal introductory waffle. There was a lot going on in this book and it did link to the festive novella that precedes it. I liked Portia as a character - she's practical, she doesn't panic, and she will stand up for herself. I found the ending a tad rushed, but that doesn't detract from the rest of it. Really loved this series!
