REVIEW: The Mirror Crack'd From Side to Side (Agatha Christie)
Author: Agatha Christie
Premise: When glamorous Marina Gregg came to live in St Mary Mead, tongues were sure to wag. But, with a local gossip’s sudden death, has one tongue wagged a bit too much?
This is a Miss Marple mystery set in her home town (which has seen rather a lot of murders!). This particular book features Miss Marple quite a bit, which I liked. You get a real feel for the community, with some mundane scenes alongside the mystery. But even these help forward the plot and give Miss Marple clues. I liked the twists and turns throughout, and the final reveal was satisfying. You'd have thought by now everyone would stop underestimating Miss Marple! Another good book.
