REVIEW: Where The Library Hides (Isabel Ibañez)

Book: Where The Library Hides
Author: Isabel Ibañez

Premise: Inez Olivera is left reeling from her mother's betrayal. When issued an ultimatum about her inheritance, she's left with only one option to consider. Marriage to Whitford Hayes. But Whit has his own mysterious reasons for staying in Egypt. With her heart on the line, Inez might have to bind her fate to the one person whose secret plans could ruin her.

This book picks up right where the first book left us, with Whit proposing a marriage of convenience to Inez. Then we spend a good chunk of the book having to watch the two of them anguishing over whether they can trust one another. I confess that the first half of the book was slow because this was the main plot, along with Inez being blatantly manipulated by another character. The last sixty pages is where the story really picks up. We have shock revelations, danger and action. It's a really easy, light read and the duology as a whole is enjoyable.
