Premise: Bryce Quinlan is going to need all her wits to get home after being stranded in a strange new world. Hunt Athalar has found himself in the Asteri's dungeons again, stripped of his freedom and without a clue as to Bryce's fate. Their world is on the brink of collapse-with its future resting on their shoulders.

I'd seen some disappointed reviews so went into this book expecting to be underwhelmed. However, I really enjoyed it. This is the third book of the Crescent City series and the one where the main story arc is concluded. There's a lot of plot threads coming together, characters developing, relationships forming, and plenty of action and jeopardy. I loved seeing the SJM universe come together, with hints of ACOTAR and TOG lore sprinkled throughout. Loved Bryce and the other badass female characters. Such a fun book and series!
